Our
company has subscribed to The Personnel Advisor for
many years, and it is our "Go-To" source for all of
our HR questions. We routinely receive offers for
other publications; however, we have been able to
research all pertinent issues in the Advisor. There
is no reason to subscribe to another publication.
Keep up the good work!

I
enjoy the Ohio Personnel Advisor so much! I refer
back to it often and enjoy having the information at
my fingertips. I am also a SHRM Member and find
benefits in having both at my convenience. The Ohio
Personnel Advisor is quick and simple to use!

Not
only is your product competitively priced, it is
always current and useful. I use sections from the
manual to create framework leadership training for
our supervisors. It has proved to be an excellent
source of concise information that has greatly
benefited our lower and mid-level supervisors.
Additionally, when in doubt or my memory is fuzzy, I
turn to the Texas Personnel Advisor first, even
after 19 years in human resources.

From a "Web Only" Subscriber:
The
Personnel Advisor is an invaluable tool for our organization! It would be
impossible to adequately manage our human resources without the guidance that we
receive from the Personnel Advisor. We routinely use the forms from the New Hire
Packet and greatly appreciate the updated posters that keep us in compliance
with federal and state laws. The monthly newsletters keep us up-to-date on
issues that we need to monitor. It is wonderful to have such a tool that
streamlines compliance!

I printed the Employee Handbook Template today. It
was very easy to use and I was able to include
policies familiar with our company. I only called
once to get help on changing the page numbers after
I deleted the instruction pages. We are finding out
having a handbook is very important even in a small
business like ours. The employee handbook is your
best insurance.

The
Personnel Advisor has been a huge help to me. I have
no formal education in HR and was thrust into the
position of overseeing and doing HR functions in our
business. The Advisor has helped in so many
instances when we have been faced with various
issues involving legalities for employees. Our
company refers to the Advisor on a regular basis,
and the email newsletters keep us constantly
updated. I know many of us out there have no former
education in HR, and are placed in positions for our
companies dealing with employee issues on a daily
basis. Thanks for such a great product.
Elaine Gebauer, Administrative Manager,
Pittsburgh, PA [2/8/12]
I
wanted you to know that we are very happy with your
service. I use my manual frequently and have always
found the information needed. It is difficult to get
accurate answers for personnel issues, so I was
especially pleased to find your company. I have also
contacted you a couple of times and everyone there
has gone out of their way to take care of me. If
only I’d found you years ago—it would have saved me
a lot of stress. Keep up the good work!
Sharon Wood, Practice Administrator, Batavia,

Your e-newsletter sent out on December 22, 2011,
included an article “Payroll Reminders & Changes For
2012” that was particularly helpful. I found this
information valuable and very important to share
with our employees. So I used your idea and created
my own newsletter to use
as a payroll stuffer. Working for a public sector I
have limited funds/resources so I value my
membership with Texas Personnel Advisor. Thank you
for keeping me up to date with such valuable
information.
Juanita Espino, Human Resource Director, Kendall

I
have many books in my office in regards to running a
business and managing employees. However, the
“number 1” book I refer to most often is my Texas
Personnel Advisor. It has everything and then some
to operate smoothly on a daily basis. Our company
handbook is straight out of the Texas Personnel
Advisor and it tackled everything we needed. I
appreciate how comprehensive and easy the Advisor
is, and it’s the one thing I will never be without.
I have told many of my fellow business owners about
this company and what they can do for them. The
customer service is as great as the product. Thanks
Texas Personnel Advisor for making my job easier!
Judy Woolf, Precision Hydraulic Technology, Inc,

Within our company when we have a HR question the
first place we go is The Personnel Advisor. Even if
we know the answer, we do a double check to make
sure. It is easy to use -- comprehensive of any
situation we have come across -- and has been a
great teaching tool for new office employees,
supervisors and our HR department. As company
controller, I have used it to keep our handbook
up-to-date and to answer or get ideas on different
situations that arise in the course of business.
Recently I attended a seminar on HR and took the
book along and showed it to many of the attendees at
lunch break -- we used it to check on what we had
discussed during the morning session.

I
have appreciated the follow-up to ensure that we
have received the latest Updates. The Ohio Personnel
Advisor has become the "Bible" in our office when
there is a HR issue that we need to solve. Coming
recently from another state it has been a helpful
tool to research Ohio regulations.

Our
company has been a subscriber to the Personnel
Advisor for several years now. We recently updated
our policy manual and used the Personnel Advisor as
a reference for many of our policies; it is an
invaluable source of information, especially with
the changes in the ADA and health care reform. I
also use Personnel Advisor to ensure that all of our
required postings are up to date and have ordered
the laminated posters for several years for the four
locations we need to post them. I really like the
"Hot News" section and the monthly newsletters. I
personally reference Personnel Advisor several times
a week as does our HR department.

Deciding to subscribe to the Texas Personnel Advisor
has been one of the best decisions I have made. It
has been well worth the investment, saving our
Center both time and money. I recently updated our
policies and procedures and the Advisor's templates
saved me weeks of time in research and writing. I
also rely on the Advisor for up to date information
on legal issues, which is helpful a smaller agency
like ours! The emails and online services is just an
added benefit. Thanks for your help.

From a new subscriber in Pennsylvania:
I have
already used the manual two times since I bought it yesterday. My payroll biller
also loves it. She did not understand weighted averages, looked it up in the
book, and there it was. The Personnel Advisor also has answered my questions on
the status of the recent NLRB ruling. The website is very useful and user
friendly and covers a lot. I feel I have a personal adviser at my fingertips.
Barbara Graver, President,

I have subscribed to The Personnel Advisor for several
years and have found that their manual, newsletter and
regular updates keep me informed of what changes are
happening in the industry on a very timely basis. It
is so easy to look up a question in the manual or go
online and research. Having both the laminated posters
for sale at a very reasonable price and the option to
print out the current posters based on the business
size is extremely helpful! I recommend their products
to all my HR and business friends.

Principal Consultant, HR-PRN, LLC, San Antonio, TX[10/4/11]
The Personnel Advisor is a great tool for my HR
Department. We are a small company with less than 50
employees. The Personnel Advisor keeps us updated on
the regulatory changes and the Reference Manual, or
“Little Black Book” as I call it, is a convenient tool
for a quick look up to questions that we have about
such things as employment of a 17-year-old, overtime
pay, in-service training pay, holiday pay, travel
reimbursement, and more. I have been a subscriber to
The Personnel Advisor for almost 10 years and it is
well worth the money. I would recommend this for any
HR Department.

The
Personnel Advisor has been an extremely helpful
resource. Managing employee issues in a small business
can be very sensitive and having The Personnel Advisor
is a blessing. I have utilized their templates from
the website on numerous occasions along with the New
Hire Packet to insure all required documentation is
handled correctly. Being a small business, we don't
have a full time human resource department. So when I
have any questions I open my Personnel Advisor binder
and find all the answers I need!

The
Personnel Advisor is an outstanding service. It
provides small business owners such as myself with the
resources to effectively administer HR policies and to
know when compliance may be an issue. Furthermore, the
customer service team is outstanding. They make it
very easy to keep up with the most current
information. The day I signed on with The Personnel
Advisor was a great day for my company.

I recently undated our employee handbook for our

I was very skeptical when I was first contacted by
phone from a member of your company. I had endless
questions that I posed to the sales rep, but he
answered each one with knowledge and patience. I had
always searched for a resource that would answer
questions with the employer in mind. This is the one!
I continue to find more and more ways to use the
Personnel Advisor. From the website, I printed all our
required posters, printed w4's, employee hire
packages, and will soon finish our employee handbook.
This is well worth the money!

With varied duties, including
HR, in our agency I have spent a lot of time in the
past researching "legalities." Fortunately, several years ago we subscribed to
the Pennsylvania Personnel Advisor and will continue to renew. The PA Advisor is
on my shelf, always available for current and timely reference. It has allowed
me and our management team to provide correct information at the time of
question, making the PA Advisor an invaluable and appreciated resource.
Gayle Padfield, Administrative

I just
wanted to testify of my complete satisfaction with the Personnel Advisor. The

I would like to say “thank you” for answering two questions
about non-exempt salaried employees that have been keeping me up at night. Your

I have
been in Human Resource and EHS for well over 20 years. I constantly look for a
"tangible" manual that would support my efforts. Finally, I have found one in
"The Personnel Advisor." Skeptical at first, I used this little brown notebook

recommend the service to anyone. Thanks!

I work for a small company
and find your "California Personnel Advisor - Guide to Personnel Management" Reference Manual an
enormously valuable tool. It covers areas of legal obligations; payroll,
employee relations, benefits and more! The Manual saves us time and money since
we do not have to contact the Company attorney or CPA for answers to everyday
questions. Thank you!

I was

Thanks to the Personnel
Advisor for the Employee Handbook Template. This is something we have
attempted to put together for a couple of years but being a small retail
business with less than 10 employees it has been difficult. Like some small
businesses we tend to operate as a “family.” But all families need some kind of
structure and discipline and now we will have this once we tweak the handbook to
our specifications. Again, many thanks.
